About Us
Our Mission
Little Explorers aims to provide quality term-time education and childcare to children between the ages of 2-4. We are a not-for-profit organisation recently established within Monmouthshire, South Wales and are registered with the Care Inspectorate Wales and Early Years Wales.
Our aim is to provide a stimulating educational environment that will encourage your child to engage in new challenges that will enable them to develop the necessary skills and knowledge needed to develop their learning, independence and understanding of appropriate current issues.
We aim to create a homeley feel within the environment and the relationships we forge with both you and your child. Sustainability is a core ethos that we strive to educate about, and model through our environment and processes.
A Modern Curriculum
Little Explorers is a registered education provider, and as such we follow the New Curriculum for Wales. This is called the 'Curriculum for Funded Non-Maintained Settings' and is specialised for younger children, their cognitive development and their physical health.
Dedicated Team
Our small team consists of a qualified primary teacher and level 5 management. All members of staff are trained in paediatric first aid, food safety in catering (level 2), safeguarding, additional learning needs, and health and safety.
